Hello everyone,

I was wondring what the people here think about their country.

Please awnser the following questions:

1) Where do you live?
2) Why should we visit your country?

Ill make a headstart with this

1) Im from the Netherlands, sometimes referred as Holland or Dutch.

2) Well the Netherlands as an excellent drugs policy, magic mushrooms / weed/ hash are allowed and the police will be soft or tolerant if you are in posession of small amounts of XTC or cocaine like substances. Besides that we are leading in some very famous dance festivals. The upper best DJ's are coming from the Netherlands. Also the country has a great nature. If you come to the Netherlands you for sure need to visit a festival like: Decibel, Defqon one, Qlimax or Tomorrowland (Belgium). Also you need to try and eat a ''stroopwafel''

Depends on the place. For example, everybody wants to visit New York but nobody wants to visit Smithville in Arkansas. I found this town on the map and I did it randomly just for example.

2) I'll only comment on the midwest/western great lakes region. The people are known for being nice. In fact, people call it "midwestern nice" or many call it "minnesota nice" due to the movie Fargo. Its kind of a stereotype i guess. It basically means they very polite.. sometimes annoyingly so lol, they try to avoid conflict (even when its warranted), and when upset.. pretty much justf passive aggressiveness lol. The area was settled by Scandinavians and Germans so maybe it's common there too. The midwest also the most charitable, ready to volunteer, and also rated the most friendly in many polls!

If you like the outdoors, good food, bars, or just want to go somewhere new with friendly people... you can't go wrong coming to the midwest! (Just don't go down to lower MI. They're lame).

We are a melting pot of every possibility here. Socially speaking that is. We have good fishing. Lobster on the shore. Striped Bass in the Fall. Great skiing further North. And lots of asshats. Flipping the bird with a Boston accent or Bronx accent. Where are my Pierogie's????
