The cows we have are dairy cows. They are treated quite nice We get beef from the store... but mostly try to get it and other meats from co-ops/fish market or hunt and fish for different meats.

It is basically a day to give thanks. Not necessarily religious, but to be thankful for things in your life and stuff.

There are parades. There is a huge one in NYC. Most people who celebrate it get together with family and have a big dinner. Usually turkey with stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pie. There's also football games that people watch and they also play it too.

It's basically a harvest fest. It was pilgrim's first harvest in "the new world." But now it's just a holiday to be thankful for things in life.
