Admins keep repeating their favorite maps..

Admins such as Lector have a tendency to set their favorite maps way too often.

Lector, for example just last night set Berlin then Stalingrad then Berlin again. This is just after the night before he played 2 rounds of Berlin in a row. Last time I checked there are 21 maps and all of them should be played. If this continues either remove his admin or remove his maps ability..

I did it last night because the server before had only 12 players on it. I skipped to Berlin and numbers increased to around 35. Then I asked several times which map guys wanted to play, majority said Stalin. It was late at night here in Europe and i was trying to get players on the server since numbers were dropping fast. During Stalin I said "choose a map" A small or medium map, preferably all around (inf, tanks, planes, etc). The guys that responded said Berlin. No one else cared replying. I left after Stalin.

Basically late at night I rather have players on the server than empty it with maps like midway, kursk, wake that some asked for. Those are server killer maps when you are running only with 20 players and trying to keep them or even increase.

And its Lecter, Lector maybe a distant cousin.

And regarding your admin removal request try harder.

I haven't played on Simple for a while but as far as I remember there are only a few players on at night until the number drops to zero. I don't think any map can kill or revive the server at that time because there simply aren't enough people left who want to play on the server.

I have nothing against lecters mapskip because in my opinion the little maps guarants more action.
more action= more player

I only do it late nights when I feel server will die. And i ask players everytime. During the day if I skip, and i ask, always follows the map rotation. But its rare.

Good job Lecter...small maps do bring in numbers and most players really like it...especially during the bleak hours with few players around.

Kisiel you got it in for him or what... its easy to criticize others actions isn't it.

After playing this game for 13 years, I think it is safe to say certain maps will not bring in more players. Even if you had let the server go to Midway or Kursk as you say, the numbers still would have went to 35.

Just admit you were setting Berlin and Stalingrad because they are your favorite, your clan has been doing it since the dawn of age on any server you can get admin on .

I wont admit because it´s not true. I would admit it otherwise if so, no problem whatsoever. Though they are some of my favorite maps I did it for all the above reasons.

stal and berlin are good maps but most of the time they are 1 sided games on the simple server and that I think kills servers more than anything
