Following the rules, attacking the enemy uncapturable main base (including basebombing) is not allowed in any way but how could I destroy enemy flaks and enemy artillery vehicles then? There are a lot of cases when the enemy artillery vehicle can be found on the main base. Practically, it gives some advantage for opposite team cause it can't be legally destroyed by the rules. Can I drop the bomb on it? Also, I'm interested in the same situation with enemy flakers.

Hi Nameless, you can destroy aa and artillery ofc. If that wasn´t possible how else would someone destroy them while being shot at from mainbases? But that´s the exception i guess.

This should be added to the rules instead of "is not allowed in any way" phrase I guess.

Generally, everybody who can kill enemies is 'mortal'. It means u can kill firing artillery, tanks, aa's, even snipers camping in buildings on Battleaxe. But the rest is untouchable, so don't try to destroy AA with wespe or something (but innocent victims happen ).

And one more thing before I understand everything I should be. Today I flew over the enemy main base and I dropped the bomb on M10 tank, which used to be as an artillery vehicle. Afterwards, I got a warning by admin - !wbase or something like that. How would my team disable this M10 without any violation? Just explain.

Hi all,

Any way it can be clarified what is allowed and not allowed?

For example, I know I am not allowed into an enemy main, but as nameless says, if arty/AA is firing you are allowed to fire back.
But how...only with a plane?

For example, I was playing the market garden map and someone was firing a wespe from their main from behind a bunker. The planes on our team did nothing about it and the arty was wiping out our team for several minutes. I was killed twice by the wespe (on spawn). There was no way I could hit it with a zook (as it was behind a bunker), it might (but would have have difficult) have been possible to hit it from range via a tank (but probably would have killed "innocent axis victims" or got a kick for repeatedly firing on main).

So I swam over the river, naded the wespe (didnt go over the sandbags but I was close) and swam back. I thought this was ok as you are allowed to fire into an enemy main if "fired upon".

I understand if what I did was against server rules and I won't do it again, but in which case I just want to challenge the rule for the following reasons:
- I don't mind use of arty but its not fun if u can't do anything about it. I dont want to wait 10 minutes for a plane just to get rid of it.
- I think some players are taking advantage of this rule a little bit. They know they are invincible if they place an arty in a good place in their base and if the opposing team has no decent/blind pilots.
- I dont see the difference between nading an arty or bombing from a plane (into enemy main).

imo you are allowed to kill the active wespe, you did nothing wrong in my eyes..

This is allowed, don't worry.

Even if you try to try to kill the Wespe with a Sherman and you kill accidentally an infantry, it should still be ok. The inf has to stay away from the Wespe and it's not on purpose.

Ok thanks - I was told by an admin whilst playing the game that what I did was not allowed, as I went "into" the enemy main, even if in self defence and only to destroy the arty.

I wasn't kicked or anything as I think the admins know I am not a trouble maker, but still, I want to know what the rules really are, and if players are taking advantage of the rules, they may need to be tweaked.

what about allies beach spawn on iwo jima? is it considered an uncapturable enemy base?
there was some discussion some time ago in game, some admin was saying that attacking it is baseraping

if it's so, what's the perimeter? what's allowed?

Hi Lecter - Yep I didn't have a problem with the admins and I appreciate this is a difficult rule to enforce as its very "subjective" and there can be a very fine line between what is ok and what is not. Also its hard to know when someone was geniuiely being fired upon or just making an excuse to baserape.

I remember another example a few weeks ago; I was playing on the El Ala map and I was flaking planes flying over main (that were baseraping the runway). Then I got divebombed and the other player said they were allowed to do that even though I had not fired upon them and that they were allowed to defend their team. Which of course is all very silly if your allowed to baserape because someone flaked a baseraper.

Anyhoo, I enjoy playing on the server, I'm not having a rant I'm just pointing out my experiences
