Failed to connect

For about 3 days I havnt been able to connect to the USA server. I get a "failed to connect" message everytime I try join? I can join everywhere else. A couple of weeks ago I had the same problem, but it fixed itself after a couple of hours. Again it was only the USA server. Has anything changed?

At the bottom left of the master server it says I'm running 1.61, not 1.61b but I'm pretty sure I am. Could that be the problem?

Did you get an "Windows Automatic Update" recently? It happened to me. I had to re-install the patch for Gamespy and all was well after installing. My problem was identical. HOPE this is it. It only takes a minute to download and install.

Now to get my TS back running again...........**sighs**

It never lists the "b" in the game it will ever show 1.61 Pleiades is probably spot on with the diagnosis

I had read your problem and others and it didnt say "failed to connect to server". I ran the first & third link from this thread http://team-simple.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2498 but it didnt help. I had the O'Lady try tuia's suggestion for Lecter, but she couldnt find the bf1942exe file shown on the second pic. We run windows 8.1.

Any more ideas?

I have seen EP, FURY & thrillho on the RtR server though. Aint seen them in forever!

Nothing has changed...try joining directly from the .exe again....if you have Origin installed the address would be wrong in the second picture, the proper navigation would be:  C/Program Files(x86)/Origin Games/Battlefield 1942

Unless 10's directory structure is different to begin with...you could also do a direct search for the BF1942.exe. and launch from there.

Just in case I gave the info wrong or you downladed the wrong patch,......here tis the link I used! Second one DOWN in the "Battlefield1942 Client" list

I tried Pleiades53's link, but it didnt work either. Sunday 10/4 I tried to join and it worked? Dont know what happened or what caused it.

Perhaps some "Monky" threw a wrench into the issue...........
