cannot connect to simple rtr sw server

hi all,

first i could join but now the server has an the error message: cannot connect to server. the server does appear in the list and i can see who is playing but when i tried to connect i get that error message even when i disable firewall and anti virus. i did the hostfile edit also but still it doesnt work. did a full reinstall of bf1942 but that didnt fix it also. any idea's on how to be able to connect again?

did you update the two server patches in the correct order?  did you add the bf patches?  check it...let us know the result

did you buy a copy of the SW R/R or are you depending on the free copies? freebies have a problem with cd keys...

i tried to  connect with another connection other then mine and now i could enter the server but with very high ping so there is maybe something wrong with my ISP ip on ur server, do u have a white and blacklist of ip's?

no....but i found this on google to check your ip is blacklisted:

I don't think its that type of conspiracy, sounds like you just have a suckie service provider...where are you and which Simple server are you trying to get on.

Have you tried getting on a server that is closer to your home country...can you get on any server?

its not in the list and i tried to connect to the simple rtr sw server as i mentioned in my first post.
i can join other servers but and i first was able to join the rtr sw server also but it suddenly now is always the error: cannot connect to server.
i am not kicked/banned while i was playing so i am losing hope here.
