I don't think so because it's pretty difficult instrumentally. Sometimes there is no need to seek for melodic, especially where it wasn't meant to be.
Just thought I would share this. I figured this was best topic to post it in ^.^
This past weekend was the annual pow wow here. Modern times it is mainly used to keep the traditions alive and also tourists come to see and there's many activities.
It also is used to honor different people or things. This year we honored the ogitchidaag (warrior). Not just warriors and soldiers and stuff, but also warriors as in those who are battling anything, including cancer or other things. Even those who may fight in a different manner, such as doctors. My cousin was part of a drum group this year (very important and honorable)!
