German politician Gregor Gysi calls native Germans "Nazis" and their extinction "fortunate".
Complete non-sense, what he is saying is that he finds it fortunate that of all Germans the nazis aren't having more children than other Germans.
With a smirk, showing evil pleasure, the parasite says in the video:
"Every year more native Germans die than there are born. That is very fortunate. It's because the Nazis are not very good at having offspring."
So, it is very fortunate, according to him, that native Germans, Nazis or not, it can be disputed, are heading to extinction. That is what he says.
tuia, do you speak fluent German? Because I do, and that is NOT what he is saying or implying in the video.
What he literally says is this: "Every year more Germans die than there are born. Fortunately that has to do with the fact that the Nazis aren't having more children either."
This "fortunately" may seem weird but it is apparent to any German speaker that what he finds fortunate is that Nazis in Germany aren't having more children than other Germans.
Why would he be calling for protests against Nazis in the beginning of the video if he could have just called them "Germans". Sorry but the translation in the video is misleading and everyone who understands Germans knows what he was saying.
I do not speak fluent German, of course you know that, and you are using that as an argument to valid your point. From what I can tell he says this:
"jedes jahr sterben mehr deutsche als geboren werden das liegt zum Glück"
"das liegt zum Glück" means this is fortunate. So, he is saying it is fortunate that each year more Germans die than are born.
You are making up that he says it is fortunate that the Nazis aren't having more children than other Germans and that is misleading, not the video translation.
Seventy is right... this is nonsense.
"Every year more Germans die than they are been born. The one fortunate thing about this is that Nazis also don't reproduce outstandingly."
It might sound confusing, but this is 100% what he meant.

Haha, well the translation is right BUT he just used a wrong "saying/term" by accident and you see that he was unsure if it was right what he said but he didn't correct it.
SO what he wanted to say is: Every year more germans die than are born. >>Luckily that also means that the Nazi's become less.<< That is the intention. In the beginning he speaks about demonstrating against Nazis.

LOL, Gysi Jew? You don't know him.
Well, from what I have read he does have Jewish ancestors.
German must be a difficult language to master, plenty of interpretations and implications.
You can say that he implied that what it is fortunate are that the nazis are dying more than are born, but factually he did say that it is fortunate that the germans are dying more than are born.
Just kidding)
Tuia I'm glad that u startet visiting forum more often . A bit dissapointed by your propaganda shit though.

Some other actvity
Okay let me hop in here and stop this nonsense. He says the following:
Jedes Jahr sterben mehr Deutsche als geboren werden. Das liegt zum Glück daran, dass sich die Nazis auch nicht besonders vervielfältigen.
Video translation:
Every year more native Germans die than there are born. That is very fortunate. It's because the Nazis are not very good at having offspring.
So first off, the expression native Germans is misleading and simply confusing. He did not say that at all. In fact, he just said Germans. The next instance where our lovely far right translator tries to convince us of Gysis wrong doings, is the sentence "That is very fortunate". They also ignore the little word "auch" which implies that he is not talking about Germans overall anymore but about the minority called "Nazis". For native Germans, it's pretty clear that the translation is simply wrong. So let me first translate the false translation.
Jedes Jahr sterben mehr Ur-Deutsche(?) als geboren werden. Das ist sehr gut. Es ist so weil Nazis nicht sehr gut darin sind Kinder zu haben.
Ur-Deutsche, are you fucking kidding me? That word does not even exist in German, hence the translation "native Germans" is simply far right propaganda. The second thing they did, was to translate it word by word. For me, it is quite clear that the translator of this video is not very familiar with German to English translation. To put it in simply words: This is a translation that is nearly on YourMother's level of English. If it is on purpose or not, we will never know but I think we can assume that the creator of the video did not double check because the translation was in his favor.
Here is the correct translation of what Gysi said:
Every year, more Germans die than are born. *A side effect of it is that Nazis aren't having children either and that is very fortunate.
The whole translation is misleading and is simply trying to persuade the viewer of the translators point. You should be more careful with such sources. By the way, I can not believe that I am defending Gregor Gysi. He is a far left politician and most of the times talks rubbish.

Here is the correct translation of what Gysi said:
"Every year, more Germans die than are born. One reason for that is that Nazis aren't having children "
Sounds like Germany must be crawling with Nazis if they can make that much of an impact.

He is exaggerating. As I said, Left wing politician liking to talk rubbish. Nobody should take him serious. And no, Nazis only make a small percentage of German population.
You should use the whole translation otherwise we have the same misunderstanding again ^^

yes its rubbish, seems to me the birthrate goes down in every modern society (nazis or not).
I changed my translation. There was a mistake. Instead of *One reason for that*, its rather *A side effect of it is*. I think that makes it more clear what he actually said.
At the end of the day who cares what this guy thinks or says he is just one person and it is just an opinion.
It all boils down to the fact would the Nazi party ever be allowed that level of power again? History dictates that they were not good for Germany or the German people so would the same German people ever vote the Nazi party back into power? Would the Nazi party be allowed to then systematically put another race to death I would have thought all of this is extremely unlikely in this day and age, god forbid have we learnt nothing from our history?
Now I realise the above comments will not sit well with holocaust denial enthusiasts but I find it interesting that a recent court case has seen one of the people at the sharp end of all this telling all of what he had witnessed and he was indeed a Nazi.

I dare say he was beaten into confession so his evidence should be ignored.
So the question "do German Nazis deserve to die?" ...................... No they simply need to be capable of education and understanding as do we all.
Thanks for all of the translations very interesting read

Interesting read indeed:

If you were born here it is not that hard... the guy who translated this is not a real German i guess. But Gysi could express himself better to avoid misunderstandings.
