So the forum is back up again but what happened to all of the old posts and the PM system?

Was it rolled back for some reason?

To make a long story short, I messed up server when upgrading OS and did not make any backup. Had to reinstall it again and use an available 6 months old forum database. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Even though forum is back up, there are some errors to fix, captcha registration is not working properly, which means no one can sign up. Reputation and private messages are disabled for now, because i have still to update them to latest version.

Shit happens when you least expect it, i backup religiously learned from these type of lessons in the past...good recovery Tuia.  One way we had multiple redundancy was using our moderators.  They would DL backups monthly.

Registrations are open. It should be working correctly now and preventing most spammers from signing up.
Another issue, if you don't remember your password to login, click the forgot password link to request a new random password sent to the email address you registered and follow instructions described in the email. After you login, you can change password in Profile > Essentials.

From now on people need to read the rules before they make a total embarrassment out of themselves. Keep to the subject, ok, maybe, but you took out the thrash so to speak. For that I commend you and hope you update forum rules to reflect a new start?
