I just tried to be useful for the team: both enemy pilots were disabled and our tanks got a chance. It's all about team tactics, not about individuals and it does mean that every teammate's action was useful.

I am not saying you played for score, but based on your score in all 4 rounds, you get my vote as MVP of the match. They should add MVP poll to matches, just like prediction poll. Only the loser team could choose MVP of the winning team.

Actually, it's doesn't matter who is MVP. What really does is the whole team result: I would prefer to play kamikaze and get poor scores if it will be useful for the team and if it leads to success, which also means I was quite successful as a part of the team.

You are completely wrong about Stalingrad. The head commander was marshal Vasilevsky, not Zhukov. Too low reinforcements at the beginning is not a purpose, it was because of lack of people and weapons. The Stalingrad battle is not a 4 days operation, it's a 6 months battle which finished with long 3 weeks encirclement (operation "Ring", the head commander was Rokossovsky, not Zhukov).

I meant 4 days to finish the encirclement - 19–23 November. During the first week, Hitler has prohibited a counterattack, being convinced of the victory. And when von Manstein finally arrives, it's already too late.
This is where the strategy was amazing. That cannot be measured in military terms alone. Manipulating the pride of the leader.

That was a brillant strategy with a terrible human cost, wasn't it ?

You are not correct in details, hence I think the cost wasn't that terrible at all because it was the war for extermination and the results of Stalingrad battle and major casualties and losses from German side, even higher than Soviet casualties and losses, cost everything, especially during the main battle of the Eastern front of WWII. I recommend you at least to read some articles in Wikipedia to be competent in the issues of strategy in Stalingrad battle.

I recommend you at least to read some articles in Wikipedia to be competent in the issues of strategy in Stalingrad battle.
