Battlefield Vietnam

Does anyone else on here play it? Almost as good as BF1942, especially the Hue, Quang Tri, Hastings, Con Thien, Lang Vei, Game Warden, Cambodian Incursion and Ho Chi Minh Trail maps. Love using the CAR-15 and M60 in particular. It's pretty much dead now save one or two busy servers which is a real shame as I have as much nostalgia surrounding this game as I do 42!

I sometimes play BF Vietnam, i used to love it, but BF2 killed this nice game.

I could never really play Battlefield Vietnam online, because my computer could not handle reasonably the game. Only played some maps in single player mode. Game looks interesting, but yes, BF2 soon after release killed the game. I love the intro music and the soundtrack.

By the way, BF1941 mod have a some maps from Vietnam (Hue, Quang Tri).

I played it since release
In 2011 or something  I installed it again to play online but its dead ! All servers are empty

I played it from around 2005 to 2009, but already back then it was slightly dead. All the original players left, so I went back to 1942.

The online community has about 75 or so players on a good day... so yeah pretty much dead. But a great game nonetheless.

You can download BFVietnam game from a torrent site. Then, use a game client browser, like Qtracker, GameTracker Lite or Xfire to scan available servers.

They are?! It's illegal to download copyrighted games or programs in Germany or elsewhere, but I am sure you can download torrents in Germany for free games or programs, like LibreOffice.
Battlefield Vietnam is a copyright game so you are better buying it, it should be dirt cheap now, and then use one of those game clients to find a BFVietnam server.
