Grand Opening of Next Generation Fraggers

Next Generation Fraggers is a North American E-Sports gaming league for EA Game's 2002 hit FPS game Battlefield 1942.
We offer a top notch competition server hosted by Gameservers for all our contestants.

The league server runs in v1.61 of the game, and is PunkBuster protected.

At Next Generation Fraggers, when you win, you are rewarded. That's why cup winners receive REAL prizes such as free server and website hosting for a year, as well as cash prizes! Yes, you heard right, real cash prizes!

Next Generation Fraggers offers a wide variety of competitive ladders for its contestants. You and your team can choose to compete in the 5v5 Infantry ladder, the 2v2 Tanks ladder or the 1v1 Dogfight ladder. A full, 8v8 Conquest regular season will kick in as soon as competing teams show enough interest.

Right now, the admin team is looking for players interested in participating in an introductory, 3v3 CTF Infantry Open Cup. If you are interested in participating, sign-in your team in the Registration topic. We have room for 24 contestants and register teams to the cup on a first come, first served basis.

3 vs 3 cup is a good number. The timing is just not right, you know what is coming in about a month.

Mamba, if you are looking to get any kind of participation in this league, I would recommend posting it on american forums such as moongamers,soc, and so on. More likely to get participation there, then here. Not every American checks the simple forums.

The server will be hosted either in the Midwest region of the United States or the East Coast.

Don't want to be rude or anything but I don't encourage any European teams, clans or players to join the event because of obvious ping limitations. We don't want people whining about ping constantly. Plus this is a North American league, so the priority goes to North American players.

Just so everyone knows my 3v3 CTF Cup is not over or cancelled, it was simply delayed due to a few teams not being able to make it. We are now moving on to the Semi-Finals.
