Siege mod events|*ideas*|*dates*
Hi Mates!
I would like to make a Siege event night in the near future. 
It will be in the BoRs | BF1942 No-Key [Ranked] server .
IP: 62.75.218.30:14570 IP CHANGED!
PunkBuster is ON, so please download, unzip/install or just turn it on inside bf1942 menu. Download: bf-league ; SiMPLE
It is a small, not final mod, 35 MB to download.
Mod Download: click Siege 0.32
Millerke's Mappack Download: click Mappack
+1 map Download: click Map
Just unzip and copy the maps here: ...Battlefield 1942\Mods\siege\Archives\bf1942\levels\
You have to set compatibility mode to xp sp3, the only way to install this mod on win 7/8.1
First Date: 11th March 2014 (Tuesday) 20:00 CET

Installed after some trouble (I had to set compatibility mode to xp sp3, the only way to install this mod on win 8.1) and tested offline.
Looks like the best mod ever 
Can't wait for the event

Important note for win8/8.1 users:
if you have troubles installing the mod (after installation you can't see "Siege" in the mod list) launch the installer in compatibility mode.
I had to launch setup file using compatibility mode xp/sp2

Looks like Origin doesnt support PB. That sucks. Anyways, enjoy your games.

Well not only pb is the problem.
Origin is 1.612, BF1942-cd version 1.61, so just download a bf1942 somewhere, patch it, crack it and come, no cd key checking.

You should turn off PunkBuster. It's a fun event, after all.
Maybe make server v1.612 that accepts all client versions, more players could join, if properly announced.
PB is not to hard to install i think (simple + pb exe), if someone can not do that easy step, it is sad.
1.612 is origin i know, but if i made it to this version, every cd version user have to upgrade it. Or what do you mean?

No. For quite some time, players with v1.61 or v1.6 can join server v1.612, if they are using modified server executable that accepts all client versions.

You should update the first post with the date.. it still says "Date will come soon!" so i think a lot of players missed it because of this.. me and at least 4 of the guys i was planning to bring along..
