Can someone explain to GameTracker that we don't use idle clients or ever reported fake players? If they don't believe it, come and see it for themselves.
Probably someone reported our server, and GameTracker are too lazy to check anything, when they saw more than 64 players in the server, brilliantly concluded that must be a fake server. Battlefield 1942 server can have up to 256 players.

either the server has been reported, or maybe it's the result of some technical issue ....

it can also be related to the gamespy issue ..... ranking lost yesterday ... same day as gamespy went down

look at the bottom six servers .... they have all lost their ranking yesterday ...

four of those, including SiMPLE can hold more than 64 players ...

so it's almost 100% sure that it is related to a server capacity of 65+ players ....

whether SiMPLE has been reported or it's an autoscan or whatever, gametracker needs to be told that this server don't cheat ....

if yes ... maybe it would be best if you contacted them ..... and told them how things are .... or are you too lazy ? ;-/

no ranking is not good for the server ....

some people connect to the server via "Gametracker Lite" and now that the ranking is gone, it will be harder for some to spot the server .... you guys need to get that ranking back as soon as possible

yeah, now in afternoon server has 45 players, used to have 60 atleast at this time before..
we must get this back, too much effort has been put in this just to let some asshole get us down,
this is best server that ever happened and it will stay best!

so it's because of the 65+ player mod ....... those gametracker admins know very little about bf1942 ....

good point ... tuia ... regarding virtually all 1942 servers currently having modded code to prevent exploits ... even Monngamers ... but those GT admins don't know about that ....

the exploit mod is "invisible" and the 65+ player mod is very "visible" to them ....

this is so silly of them

well tuia, if u dont get a statement from ea games, who cares about gametracker anyways..ill close my account there if this stays..
players wont leave, we have whole liga playing there and many other constant players

i doubt we will miss those people who wont connect from gametracker....
let the other servers be 1st in stats, but the players know which one is best!!

It's an unfair decision, that's why I'm discussing with GameTracker admin. Players can still connect from GameTracker client.
You should use Adblock Plus for Firefox or another adblocker program, so GameTracker doesn't get revenues from advertisement views on their webpage.

LOL Gametracker... I was looking into more than 64 players on my server back in 03 but I did not have the players for it.
I did get a ok from EA back then to do it.....

Funny thing is, that SiMPLE | BF1942 No key [FRA] got removed from another server ranking website: Game-Monitor. All other SiMPLE servers are tracked except the main one. Conspiracy?
I would love to see SiMPLE | BF1942 No key [USA] server reaching top of the server ranking lists. That was about to happen, if it wasn't for all the IP addresses changes.

Another thing is, Madkiller wrote in the server GameTracker blog, but got erased, something like, your server is going down in the ranking, a few days before this happened. Didn't pay any attention to it and deleted the blog post. I hardly believe Madkiller can convince anyone in his dreadful english to remove the server from GameTracker ranking. Maybe he knew something about it.

but tking on their servers or scams isnt our thing, lets just make usa server full like before, cause ive seen sometimes it had more ppl than moongamers...
about rusbf, it will stay incompetent just if we keep madkiller an admin there..maybe we should write a letter to server owner that he is best admin there and that he should be admin no matter 15786 people say he isnt for admin

For me Madkiller has nothing to do with RusBF.ru, he is an admin there, but that's it. He wants to turn the server into a no rules server, where anything is allowed, so he and his boyfriends can fool around.
I know RusBF.ru server owner, he is an intelligent person and has helped me before. He doesn't have time to manage the server.

When EA dropped BF1942 PunkBuster support, it was a clear message they didn't care anymore about it.

Aww, it's such a shame such a nice, friendly server with top admins got reported to gametracker and unranked. I have no idea the kind of person who would do that. But, I am sure tuia you were warned what kind of attention maj merlin brings to your server....My advice to you, wise up tuia, as long as he is permitted to play here your server will suffer. And the suffering only gets worse the longer merlin is allowed to nest here. Believe me, I've seen it first hand. Many of my favorite servers have been destroyed by the people that maj merlin insults and attacks. They will stop at nothing to follow him here. Keep protecting him, but ask yourself, as so many other server admins have; is it worth it??
