Five favourite and least favourite Battlefield 1942 maps?

Favourites:

Monte Cassino - Always an epic match on this map, especially when you're the allies and you have to fight your way uphill. The way it's night time and there's constant explosions from artillery gives it an eerie feel. It reminds me of the bridge scene in Apocalypse Now.

Omaha Beach - Been done to death in pretty much all World War II games, but it's still really enjoyable. Taking cover on the beach as a sniper for the allies is always good fun! And then the ensuing battle in the nearby village is always great.

Iwo Jima - Tanks, planes, ships, jeeps, artillery, landing beaches, mountains, airfields, sniper vantage points, bunkers, it has everything you could ask for in a World War II game!

Tobruk - Usually pretty chaotic, the way you're always losing flags and you always have to watch your back for any tanks nearby. Great fun!

Battleaxe - Just a fun map. The way all the flags are in a valley with either base on each side gives it a sort of arena feel which I find quite cool.

Least favourite:

Wake Island - Unpopular choice but I just find it a bit overplayed. Could never quite put my finger on why I never liked it but I always sigh and roll my eyes when I see it's the next map.

El Alamein - Again, overplayed. Most of the map is literally just desert. It's also a map ruined by people who just spend the whole game flying over your base and dropping bombs on you.

Bocage - I just kinda find this map a bit boring. Like El Alamein there's not really much in terms of scenery, just countryside, a windmill, a few houses and two bases.

Market Garden - Again, there's just something about this map in that I just never enjoy it. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the Western Front!

Coral Sea - Unless you're good at flying planes then it's a bit of a pointless map in my opinion.

All the other maps

Honourable mentions to Caen, Stalingrad and Berlin for my favourite maps. Also a lot of Forgotten Hope maps were brilliant when I used to have it.

My favourite maps:
- Raid on Agheila
- Cassino
- Stalingrad (w/o tanks and nades)
- Berlin  (w/o tanks and nades)
- Midway - map of 3 sides: sea, sky and earth.

Less favourite maps:
- Gazala, Guadalcanal, Phillipines - they are large, so planes are kings there, because no good defence against them (no enough flaks).
- Battleaxe - I guess it's must be a just infantry map w/o tanks and planes.
- Market Garden - very unbalanced map, allies wins everytime.
