Dermfat, by the way, you can see cyrillic font correctly displayed in game by replacing your EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\Font.rfa file with the one inside the package: http://team-simple.org/download/BF1942-RUS-font.zip

If you prefer an installer: ftp://ftp.clanbase.ru/battlefield_1942/BFRUSLS.exe. The Font.rfa with cyrillic support was taken from that installer and packaged.

when i try to install this it says that its not valid windows32 application or something...

Link is not working, but I still have the cyrillic font installer on my disk, if you want it. However, you can do it manually by following what I wrote before: http://team-simple.org/forum/viewtopic. … 800#p14800

yeah i replaced font.rfa and it works, but i still dont understand cyrilic

Hello, I have visited simple server many time though it is not my main home due to location.  I think we all are very appreciative of their contribution to 42 community.   

I am U.S. based and it would be helpful to me to on rare occasion communicate some very basic russian in 42.  I installed font, and use google translate.  Would latin be the best central solution or is there a way to copy and paste from google translate and have the alphabet picked up correctly?
