Merging RTR & SW server with 60 slot server

Have you ever thought of running RTR & SW maps on the main server? It could possibly bring more players for the expansion packs. I ask this because I always thought the majority of players on your server will have them (maybe I am wrong). It is an idea though .

This is something new, established bf1942 players don´t like new things.

I think it's a good idea. MoonGamers have successfully arranged every Sunday to play Road to Rome and Secret Weapons maps. It could be tried on Fridays or on Saturdays.

They will eventually instal rtr+sw when they see others play it

Yes, I hope so. There are some really good maps in Road to Rome and Secret Weapons which can be fun to play with lots of players.

true. server hasnt recovered yet from adding punkbuster. most popular maps are hellendoorn, raid on aghelia, santa croce....

You can try for example one changing map of RtR and SW in the list one day of the week ?

Just to fly the Flettners on Raid on Aghelia, I would install the SW Xpack.

I do believe that most of the Classic's players would appreciate and perform on the RTR+SW. As Bidji put it, at least try it !

i think this merge can be a bad move. It will decrease server numbers for sure unless it´s only a specific day a week running. Make it on Sundays or Mondays.
