Well as I answered him - yes I like noodles...Well you guys set the limits of whats ok to joke about or not...Next time its something else - just be stringent and its ok with me...I was not offended by this infact I laughed a bit ... But then again where do you draw the line? Not ok to have a username like Göring or Hitler but ok to joke about stoning women? Ok to joke about 9/11?  naaah I say - keep it clean and it will be more fun for all...

back to topic:

As I can see the kick is deserved. It is always deserved if someone on the server feels offended, it does not matter if you think it is just a joke or you did not mean to insult/hurt anyone.
And the kick should be a sign to behave better on the server and leave those comments...

And those comments should be not on the server. More strict admin would have given you min. a 1 day ban, cause you are making fun of a religion and you bring up political issues in the server.

Gorr, did you ever kick timmos when he said to someone noob or fool? How many times he said that to me and i never kicked him. Sometimes you kick people for stupid reasons and u know what i mean.
u are good admin but you still need to learn to treat every player equal and for what to kick and for what not

Ok, time to write something serious.

BF42 is a game where you can play as a NAZI soldier and KILL people. Is someone of you offended by this? No, you know that would be stupid.

There is a server command (!gay someone or !wgay someone, I don't remember) to tell someone "stop acting as a gay". Is that a discrimination or not? I've never seen any admin kicking someone for using that command.

Come on guys, don't be hypocritical.

If you think that asking a random question to a random guy who could easily ignore me should be punished with a kick or a ban, you should be consistent and mod this war game into a Teltubbies Vs Smurfs paintball battle. If not, it means that Gorr committed an abuse kicking me and should justify that in some way.

I've read people disgusted by nicknames like "Stalin", "Hitler" etc. and I really would like to understand if having a stupid nickname inspired to a dictator is actually more serious than behaving like a stupid dictator.

@DC and Gorr: could explain exactly what's so offensive or racist in my question? I really don't get it.

There is just no need for another pointless discussion. If Gorr felt offended by your question and kicked you for that, just accept it. It´s jsut a kick. People are different that means the line you have to cross to offend them is different. Next time look out which admin is online before asking those questions

For people that complain that I warn and sometimes kick for stupid comments as noob nab etc. I try to keep the chat clean and the server a nice place to play.

@Denny. If I wouldn't warn Timmos on teamspeak I would do it in the server chat or kick him.

I am really disappointed by some admins work on Simple... I'm completely in with Sociopatico on this one, not because he's my clan mate, but because it is too stupid to kick someone for making jokes, it is harmless! And Sociopatico has original jokes, not just saying that someone is gay or fool or noob. He always puts some freshness in game, even Casca said he laughed. So wtf Gorr? Is your life so miserable you can't handle a fooking joke? Come on... Stop acting like a little spoiled child.

I think its fine that you want a proper reasoning behind his decision to kick you. But he already said if you don´t understand why he´s offended, there is no need to explain it. It´s quite simple. Some people are getting easier offended then others. Keep that in mind and you won´t get kicked anymore for saying such jokes.

I would say that Gorr is one of few admins that acts correct to players, and it is not clear (I don't know the reason) to me why he kicked Socio. I'm sure that in unclear situations like this kick can offend more than a ban. You must admit that he really has original jokes I like them, not because we are in the same clan, but because I love to have fun
