It seems you have generated a licence key. It's unlikely but possible.

You did not generate a valid CD-key, Gamespy authentication server is not responding in time, which means all BF1942 servers accept any key, at the moment.

woah ... i wonder if this has happened before ? if no, then it may look like a deliberate action, just like the end of official bf1942 pb support three years ago

I am not sure about that, but Gamespy authentication server replies back if key is valid or not after around 15 seconds. It does not respond in less than 6 seconds, so for now all BF1942 servers are "No key".
