According experience of my friends Firefox is indisputable most slowpoking browser when have installed a flash-plugin.
I don't know how today, but a few years ago, at time when I stopped using Opera and tried to use Firefox, it seemed so slow and buggy that I used IE until appeared Chrome browser.

Well, I have Firefox on my programming/school laptop, but I don't have much complains about IE except for the bad visualisation with some websites..

This post actually made me a little bit sad, I grew up with IE after all and a 56k modem. Poor IE

IE still has its uses when it comes to some business applications however so I use it at work from time to time And dont get me started on some client machines, XP is still widely used lol.

Maybe user agent is set to just Windows, but nothing more specific.

ie is famous for its 0days used in the wild. its closed source therefore the 'community' cannot speed up patch release for the relevant vulns. discovered, unlike firefox
