Actually, after trying other servers, it told me 'Wrong version, do you want to update?"
The only exception was [aX].
When I try to join servers by I.P it tells me 'Failed to Connect to Server' or 'Requested server not found.'

Ok, you probably have BF1942 v1.6 installed. Download bf1942-v1.61-nocd-widescreen-fix.zip if you wish to update to v1.61.
