I had this bad gateway on many sites, not just here... after a restart it was ok.

yes, the forum is sometimes slow and sometimes completely unreachable lately

i either get that incapsula page saying that it failed to connect to the real site or some nginx produced http error (not sure if it's that 502)

Yes I saw  "nignx" below   502 bad gateway!!
