That's a nice tip ! Didn't know that. I have no idea if any of the "pro" pilots use this. As far as I know, they spam camera angles instead, but it may be useful to somebody in certain situations.

I can send you my settings (same as Lighty and I guess as most other users).

Btw (and not pretending to be a top pilot), I'm constantly switching views when I'm flying and imo it's one of the most important things. Anyway, I think most tankers also switch views now and then to make sure no one is sneaking behind the tank.

Yes thats true. I use different views a lot especially when i am killing and trying to seek infantries.

another educational video - nothing groundbreaking

avoid fall damage by touching or pressing against surfaces on the way down

use the movement keys for this. even very brief contact will eliminate damage in most cases

also you can look behind a wall or right into inside a house, but enemies spotted and killed in such way will be sure to say that you are a cheater

some veeery basic stuff ... torpedoes from planes

in this video : typical torpedobombing (by me) ... five hits and one miss to sink a destroyer .... meaning it must have been repaired meanwhile, because four torpedoes hitting at close to 90 degrees will sink a destroyer

quite noobish since i fly too close to the ship ... if the ship isnt moving, best tactics are to drop them from as far away as possible ... but thats of course a bit harder ... if you use the minimap to aim, it can even be done without seeing the ship at all ....

highest damage is dealt when they hit at a right angle / 90 degrees

90 degrees = 100 % damage
45 degrees = 77 % damage
22 degrees = 50 % damage
10 degrees = 37 % damage

if dropped at a too steep angle against the water surface, they will move under ships keels, so the closer and more level dropped to the surface, the greater chance of hitting ships

planes dont need to slow down to hit, and theres no maximum range. the hit indicator will stop showing hits beyond 1000 meters though

one tip for teamplayer: when you are in a ship and there is a ship beside you, you can still repair even though he is like 100 m away.

in the early days plenty servers had their torpedo's modded, maybe thats why u could kill them
