Battlefield 1942 announced for the Xbox :

EA will publish Digital Illusions' WWII-based action game on Microsoft's next-generation console.

Electronic Arts announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Swedish developer Digital Illusions to

publish Battlefield 1942 for the Microsoft Xbox and PC platforms.




Battlefield 1942 canceled for the Xbox :

EA Games' World War II-themed first-person shooter will no longer be released for the Xbox.

Electronic Arts has informed GameSpot that the Xbox version of Battlefield 1942 has been canceled. The company canceled

the game so the development team could focus all its efforts on the upcoming expansion for the PC version of Battlefield

1942.

let me add my favourite historical bf1942 bug. i think i quit the game for like a year when it was patched away late 2003 smile this was back when lachesis was still sucking on mommy's titties!

Talk about makeing me relive 2002 lol.....

I started out on Tobruk and later moved to the demo wake on ea servers and others then the full game came out. big_smile

I have never seen these screenshots from 2000, where did you get them?

I found some also, LensFlares haven't been disabled yet (video from 2001 shows it too, the sun is shining through Katyusha cabin)...
