hello everyone.I'm using windows7 64bit and it's patched on pfc windows7fix.when playin game i see that message

That's a harmless warning message from PunkBuster. You can ignore it.

ok thanks now some questions:
1.why I dont have numbers of refresh rates on right side resolutions?

2.in game when i press M to look map I see lagging arrows planes and tank icons not allways but often
my connection speed is 4mb/1mb tv cable net

3.what is the best way to play bf1942 on windows 7..changing compatibility to xp sp2 or xp sp3 with admin or install pfc patch coz sometimes I play FH also?

Go to <BF1942 dir>Modsf1942Settings and open VideoDefault.con with Notepad. Change renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 0 to renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1.

I have that too sometimes. I don't know, probably server related. Maybe others can help you.

I never had problems playing BF1942 in Windows 7 x64 with Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode and administrator rights enabled. I have not tried Pixel-Fighter's patch nor played FH.

I'm playing with Win XP SP3 compatibility mode and it works perfect. But some people say that it doesn't.

after this fix sunny i got msg data differs from server..

and fh is running with low resolution

What server are you trying to join?
To play FH you need to install fix from "Compatibility FIX for FH 0.7" folder only, two others aren't needed. After installation set Win XP SP3 compatibility mode for BF1942.exe.

ok i thought that i have to install widescreen patch too now bf42 working well this exe file make this error...but I have to check fh now brb

i tried some '' win 7 crash fix'' and my ping was crazy 200-250 , now i just play with win sp3 compat. and its perfect

why pb folders from this site and some others are different..not the same files into folder and different sizes..??

I don't know about that, but as long as you have the latest PunkBuster client version you won't have any problems. I think latest released is v2110.

i think Bud wrote something how to update PB directly from a game server, someth like "pbsecurity_0"...
is this appropriate for any PB enable server?

Hi,one more question to you on windows7 in my documents folder I have Battlefield1942 folder with my video.con file from custom profile.Before I didn't saw it.Resolution in this file is 640 480 16 0 hmm In game can't see refresh rates also Why default files from settings folder got "0" o refresh rate position?

You have to run Battlefield 1942 with administrator privileges in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, if it has UAC enabled. Probably, it got saved in your documents folder because you had no administrator privileges.
Default video files have 0 in refresh rate position, probably, because no one changed that behavior since BF1942 v1.0 got released.
To see all refresh rates in game you have to add to your VideoDefault.con file:

renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1

I have this line like you wrote and cant see rr Im only one user of this pc so why I haven't administrator privileges or how can I check it? uac is off
this method with pb_security 0 doesnt work for me

I was trying it on SiMPLE server FG stalin and Moongamers and nothing so what server you prefer to update?

Look at pb folders from different source...example pb folder from Moongamers site and from this site got diff files...wtf

The PunkBuster installer hosted here is PBBans official release for Battlefield 1942. I don't know about other packages, never checked them, but you can see if your PunkBuster client version is the latest (v2.110) by entering console when you join a server.

Yup I know it tuia and if there is an official release why players using other ways ex. console typing pb tanker updater or ur site folder?
