My joystick is acting up. What is a good new one?

I have a Logitech Cyborg EVO that my brother used for years and now I've been using it for about a year or so. Is there a good joystick that doesn't have the seperate throttle thing and just has the basic stuff I don't want to pay like $200 for one.

Mine looks like this one:

I had problems with like 4 Logitechs. But back then this joystick was pretty new. I don't like that you can't  calibrate it.

Buy this one

I am left handed. I find that to be an issue with some :-/

True, that sucks... but with the Logitech you have the same problem.

Btw. your joystick isn't a Logitech, it is a Saitek. The good thing is you can convert it to southpaws. But i am no fan of this joystick because there is a too big margin. But afaik there is a program which allows you to increase the margin.

Oh I see... it is Saitek, What is southpaw? I usually use my left hand when I fly and use my right hand t push buttons on keyboards for like commands to say "Enemy whatever spotted"

The springs are breaking and a few buttons aren't working

I had the same problem with the buttons and a accumulation of dirt under the spring. It kinda influence the resistance of the joystick which is pretty annoying. The joysticks are all about 30 $.

my hand is my stick and my mouse is my joy
seriously, never tried joystick in bf42, some say it s way better then keyboard + mouse.
logitech extreme looks swift btw
