Pure Berlin CTF

Guys, what do you think about one map in the list of maps to be absolutely pure that is Berlin CTF, without any modification of vehicles and restrictions on guns and allowing main base camp/rape? Purely to try out just one map?

dude why? vanilla berlin is unbalanced and really lame with tanks and nadespam. the way its modded now is great for ctf and infantry gameplay. if you want to baserape so bad go to a different server.

I agree. Playing Berlin CTF or Conquest unmodded may seem funny for a moment, but once you see grenades flying everywhere, players can't get out from russian mainbase and everyone is grenade spamming, it's not fun anymore. There are some populated BF1942 servers where you can play Berlin unmodded, you can try and test gameplay.

I think this server is fine as far as the people who visit it, and so far I do not intend to play in another. I'm not obsessed with camping/rapeing at the base, just wondering why he could not be included for example pure Berlin for 5 days? After these 5 days to let people on this forum write a review of experience and how they were playing a clean map.
I will also note that for all the time I spent in this game I played the most pure berlin capture flag and I know that both the Russians and the Germans were winning in spite of mutual xpacking/mining flags and seemingly unbalanced number of vehicles / tanks

Play Berlin CTF or Conquest mode?
Some players don't like Berlin because there are no grenades and no tanks, but I remember playing Berlin pure Conquest mode, where you could not leave russian base and even worse, germans had the soviet tanks bombing it.

Berlin CTF pure can work with a small number of players. Keep in mind what will happen, some players will put exppacks around the flags, making it impossible to capture them and grenades will be flying to bases.

It is possible in such circumstances to steal the flag ... Just need a solid organization ... I'll wait to see what the rest of the people from the forum has to say on this topic.

allowing main base camping with 64 players is just stupid, especially on a one-sided map like berlin.

try your proposal with max. 32 players and a more balanced map.

btw, ctf means base camping, because you have to camp to get the flag, so why change it?

hey guys, im a big fan of CTF but only on big maps like el alamein. i think even invasion of philipines would make an interesting CTF.

Yesterday on this server was pure CTF Berlin and there were over 30 players. Moreover, the game was very interesting and dynamic and the end result was 2-1 for the Germans. I noticed that there were those players who have not noticed that the game was capture the flag Almost all the players start as a medic, but later came to the diversity in the choice of weapons, of course, because both sides were present tanks. In order to better balance the number of players in the game, several times I was crossing from one side to the other. The last 5 minutes of the game while I was on the Russian side, there was a German siege of our base because players are not paying attention to our tanks that were spawned that were stolen by the Germans. Also, from what I noticed, no one has placed explosives on the flag besides me that I used the engineer and his mines. It was almost negligible as far as the short period of grenades thrown by the Germans on the Russian base.

The leader of my clan intends to refresh and modernize a little look of our web site, but can not move it out his fat ass to finish so it is currently not in use. As for music, I think he has set, I do not know where he found the music, but it sounds good

try to find on youtube, and type bf1942 intro music, there u will find people who play with trump's orchestra this music.
