Help with improving tank skills

I'm playing for quite some time now, but my tanking skills seem to be stagnant.
No matter how I try I always get blown up first.
That got me thinking, does anyone know what kind of controllers players like
Lati use? Maybe issue lies here. I use WingMan Formula Force GP, but maybe it's too
bad for tank driving in this game

Just use a mouse + KB, much easier that way. Check tanking videos. play tank arena and tl aberdeen, look at different strategies.

You need to move the turret independantly of the tank to aim properly. Use mouse and kb...

Oh, I guess that means I can't use Wii sports pistol for playing infantry neither...

I've always been curious... if you play on a laptop with a touch screen... can you just tap the screen to fire?

Shoot low.
Hit the right in the back.
Jump in a server, grab a tank, and practice aiming.
I like to practice on El Alamein, Gazala, Kursk, Market Garden, and Aberdeen are all good maps.
If you cannot find an empty server, set up a game against bots.

Use keys and mouse, it's far more intuitive. Two parts to a tank, the body and the turret. They are independent. If you keep dying in an equal shoot-out, start counting and monitoring shot reload times. This will give a better chance of bailing before your tank blows up. Aiming for the critical areas is worth the time and patience as it will produce results.

This is my video from years ago and I can confidently say skill has nothing to do with it. It's what the game allows you to do.
