Modded Coral Sea? How does it work


Basically, it’s played the same way as the default version.
The carriers are stationary, and the objective is to sink the entire enemy fleet.
It really calls for some proper teamwork; otherwise, a round might be over pretty quickly.
For that reason, i had to abandon the original idea that none of the vessels should respawn.
Instead, all ships now have quite long spawn times;
the larger the vessel, the longer it takes for a replacement to appear.
The round is over when a team’s last ship has been sunk.

This is very refreshing and interesting idea for vanilla BF1942. Reminds me of FHSW pure naval maps.
I wish such mods were exposed directly to SiMPLE server and were played out at weekends, like Moongamers do with CTF and RTR-SW.
