vote sabotage

So all this week, but importantly today, about 1 hour ago, it was El Alamein, then omaha, with 12 on 12,
someone knowingly set it back by vote, sending it to 5 on 5  El Al again,
they are doing it on purpose to sabotage the server population, this must be stopped,
when the population raises above 30 on a Friday,
it should either be disabled for most of the day / night, or the optimal maps lined up pre set at least with no vote

As well as investigation into people voting for exact previous map as next map repeatedly at start of each new map, especially if that vote is for el alamein

100% agree. This voting shitshow must be removed altogether on all servers. Only cycled map pull would be great. I remember when some ruski clowns did the same with Berlin map. Population then dropped from 50 active players to 12.

specially if that vote is for el alamein

The voting system is helpful with small server population, but I think it's best to have it automatically disabled when certain amount of players joined the server (say, 30)
In other cases, it's up to the presence of admin to disable the map votes as they may be abused by certain players, like voting for El Alamein during El Alamein map.

Server was again, sabotaged by at least 1 person voting el al when its already on that map at low population but filling for the day at 21 ppl,
they then voted it a 3rd time and morons there, at least 10 of them added to that vote, at these critical times of day, it must be disabled or remove the map except during populated hours on weekends

To address the issue of constant map voting and improve server revenue, I propose implementing a monetized voting system. By requiring a $5.00 fee to initiate a vote and a $1.00 fee to cast a ballot (via credit card or pre-paid balance), we can immediately curb vote-spamming while supporting server costs.

Additionally, I suggest a financial deterrent for team killing: a $1.00 penalty per offense. This "utopian" model would ensure that every action on the server—from changing the map to accidental TKs—has a tangible value.

I've noticed this shit too, playing el al ctf then voting for it again.
It's annoying, and I think they do it for that exact reason as most players hate el alamein ctf.

Really all it means is most players will connect to moongamers rather than simple.
Admins unless you want simple to turn into a small private club of el al freaks , do something with the voting please.

If there were a majority of players that voted to replay and the vote passes,I can't see the issue.
Isn't that why the mapvote is there in the first place?
I am sure our very insultive topicstarter would not complain about several consecutive BOB rounds...

And bring back the kickback for teamwounding and/or the PTK command.
Too many teamwounders these days....

Its not the fairest system when the population is just getting going and little assholes like VC Guerilla and VoiceChatperson keep double, triple voting el al when its a critical time of day for player count to increase

Cmon guys Majotrette Merlinda doesn't play on many maps,only those where he has an advantage or where her can spawnbomb a  flag or a carrier... as he does on all the maps HE votespams.. Bocage ,Market garden and BOB...
M10 on Aberdeen ,B17  on several maps or he cries and stomps his insecure feet.
Yesterday the server had quite a few players doing EL Al ctf after voting it again,admin came and changed it and half the people left.

Stop tending to what some even say to me is a 'guy with not all his marbles' and I should 'ignore him' while he insults half the server and worse.Only Arkos kicked him recemtly for his constant jammering spamming.Good man!

I wish more admins would follow his example.

I have no issues with replayed maps,only with the overvoting during a round,I don't need 10 mapvotes or more in 40 min playtime.

Truth as old as time everyone's only out for their own interests. Wanting more players on the server just so you can carpet bomb them with the b17 is so thoughtful.

Zoid is incorrect as I only do this when it syncs up with at least 1 other or more good map/maps, as well as only at optimal hours and NEVER at a time when I know it will make people mass leave, on top of the fact, el al is always proven time and again to drive people away, Brit more often than not, when the potential is there, can turn a server from 12 on 12 to 20 on 20 easily, ive seen it many a time despite the late hour, I also forego such wishes for the sake of the server when its completely impractical, rather than voting a b17 map, I will insist play the list through when said map vote was played 5-6 maps or less ago

Right simon simpleton, I'm just doing it regarding the population for more b17 kills, when its low population that the sever and therefore the game is dying entirely for good, forever

Alamein is being played for 3rd time in a row right now... 2 hours of it for only 3 guys who do nothing but flying a jeep between flags (and theyre always the same vote spammers)
Just remove the vote system, it is chrystal clear that is set for trolling or just fun spamming the same map all over again, or worse, ruining an entire list of maps, check the trackers, you can see wich maps are the favs and wich the killers.
