2v2 Conquest Tank League [REGISTRATION CLOSED]

Hi everyone,

With everything getting so quiet recently I decided to host a tank league.

All match results and the league rankings will be made available via a new tournament platform currently being built by Skandia, the author of the awesome bfstats.io website which displays player and server statistics.

We have four registered teams for the tank league which will start on November 1st and end 3 weeks later.

Discord makes things easier for contacting your opponents but that’s fine, just make sure you check your SiMPLE PMs.

Discord makes things easier for contacting your opponents but that’s fine, just make sure you check your SiMPLE PMs.

He doesnt need a dc to do this, he has the easiest way to contact his single teammate - go to house and close contact

Per your request for suggestions. 
1. Multiple Rounds on a map is a bad idea and I personally never saw a ladder do this before.  Maps favor some skills over others, ending up on a map that favors your opponents is fine if the next one doesn't or favors you.  It's like a new battle with different considerations, but 2 rounds on the same map is very demoralizing to the losing team of round 1.  (I know from personal experience).  When the one Ladder we won we faced our rivals on 2 maps without planes!!!

2. Normally one round on 3 maps, you play the first 2 maps and 3rd one is used as a tie breaker if teams are 1-1.  The specific maps are revealed to the teams 1 week prior to the match.

3. One teams get to pick first and third round map, other team gets home field advantage by having round one / three played on their server. 

Well that's how it was done back in the day, let me know if you like these ideas.

Hi FlameHaze, thanks for registering your team and your suggestions.

The format of this competition is a single elimination knockout tournament meaning if you lose once you’re out. It’s not a ladder, although I might make one in the future if there is interest for it. We might also explore doing a ladder if we don’t have enough teams for the single elimination tournament.

Teams usually do two rounds per map, but switch sides after each round. This makes the match interesting and not redundant by playing on the same side twice.

We don’t have enough teams for the knockout tournament. Instead, I will host a small 2v2 tanks league. We will start on November 1st.

Match week #1 is starting this weekend.

We have a match scheduled at 4:00 PM EST (GMT -5) on Saturday November 1st. [TLB] will be playing =Volpi=.
