Re: BF-League matches

GGs BMC - always a competitive and fun match-up. Glad the third matchup didn't end in another 3-3.

Killer - the excuses are lame. And the claim that this BMC lineup is far from the best that BMC has to offer doesn't seem very genuine. Top to bottom BMC is very experienced and capable, especially compared to our many new players who are still learning how BFL is played.

It's great that we have been able to field a competitive team of new and old talent to keep things interesting. Shoutout to the conquer guys for the friendly and fun environment. It's been a blast watching the new guys learn, grow and also have success against the stiffest competition as rookies.

Hopefully BMC can find a way to overcome the complaining, yelling and chaos in your communication. That kind of response to losing just shows that you guys care about the outcome. Perhaps it'll motivate everyone to prepare a bit more for an even more competitive game to end the season!

Re: BF-League matches

There was nothing but the truth said, you should listen to our teamspeak, nonstop yelling even when winning for slightest shit almost whole rounds. Obviously we cared about the result, if not there wouldnt have been even 5 guys to show for. Yeah, the experience we have should have led to much better overall play, not what we showed sadly.

Anyway, i take nothing away from your side, i stated in my previous post you mastered the maps, really well played.

Nothing better than hiding behind that ammo crate on Stalingrad and name spamming mid. So much fun, takes a lot of skill too!

If you want to complain about this spamming you can address it to the man who picked this map.
A tank would be more fun, but nade spamming was def. more relaxing.

Good games, well played.

From BMC point of view - totally uncharacteristic match, like we never played with each other before. Shame we couldnt get our best lineup and leader on, but still very poor. Total chaos, horrible teamspeak, nonstop complaining and yelling for no reason.. losing flags immediately many times after getting them. Our worst match in years.

On the other hand, was very visible who trained hard and came prepared for this match, even getting dozen guys hour before match and keep grinding every detail of the map, but I guess our motivation sums that all up, getting in last second before the match stars, usually questions what maps do we even play etc. No real tactic for Berlin at all..
Thats "BmC's motivation for years". We are used to get in last second not caring much, not being active overall and still kicking opponents asses in matches. Doesnt always work like that and it showed yesterday.

You got a great team, so its fun to fight a new challenge at least. Looking forward for rematch.

PS: Doubti killing spawning guys in Axis base(didnt even move) with tank for fun..

I think the lack of motivation affects all the clans. It seems today the “clan wars” are more like fun games with friends. If you win, that’s cool but if you lose no big deal - it was all for fun anyway. At this stage, the game is so dead that there is no real incentive to win. We’re not in the golden days of competitive BF42 anymore, far from it.

Re: BF-League matches

I personally don't consider complaining and yelling as a "fun game with friends", but to each their own ^^

What do you guys have to complain about? You keep winning all your games.

Re: BF-League matches

I get you Mamba. Motivation and activity levels aren’t what they used to be. But I think a lot of us still find enjoyment in the competition. Clan wars in 42 have always been about the genuine enjoyment we get when a competitive challenge, structure and team dynamics all intersect.

Just because it's less active doesn't mean there's no incentive to win. Sure there may be some decay of the overall competitive spirit, but BF is more fun when everyone is playing the game to win. And it's made even better when doing it versus tough opponents like BMC.

Honestly, despite the changes over time, this match still felt like those from the ‘golden age’ in all the ways that matter.

Well said. From what I saw, the final score and the videos, it looked like BmC fell apart. Maybe because their key players were absent, a lack of communication/motivation, I don’t know. It didn’t look like typical BmC gameplay. That being said you guys deserved the W, not trying to diminish that. You had A1 communication and great map awareness, even the new guys performed well.

The last real BFL season for me was in 2021, we had 9 clans. Since then it just went downhill. Looking forward to more top tier games and the possibility of casting them. lop should have joined this season. Maybe next time.

I started playing on 2007, and we kept doing tourneys until 2011. Last 2 were easy tbh.
