Network issues vs mobile broadband router

I have been unable to join any servers.
Yes I've patched game using Team Simple's widescreen patch, and gamespy patch/fix.

I am on mobile broadband router, so my connection is slow/unstable, but usable.
I am able to play other multiplayer games such as COD, Moria, and more.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot BF1942 network issues?
