Issues with hosting on Linux

I have an issue with hosting game server for testing and experience - I'm able to start server on port 14567 and private network IP, but for some reason nmap shows that it's still closed.

iptables is wide open (for now) and UFW disabled so it shouldn't be the case. Any ideas what might cause this issue?
Help really appreciated

Re: Issues with hosting on Linux

Update: netstat does show following line:
udp        0      0 127.0.0.1:14567         0.0.0.0:*

So, firewall issue? But if so, no idea how to allow port when iptables are already wide open

Okay, it started working after replacing binaries with files developed by finest minds of BF42 community:
https://www.moddb.com/games/battlefield … ter-server

I could swear that I was already using them...

(Might have been also related to opening ASE port)
