Flying crate on Iwo Jima?

I think I saw a crate in the air near the Mount Suribachi, quite high but should be seen from the flag looking SE. I was in a plane so it was only a glance, but don't tell me I was drunk

It's not flying, it's static object and you can crash your plane into this crate.
