The tournament itself lasted less than 2 hours, and the announcement was made a month earlier. There were 12 players at the start, which secured the possibility of the game. What I would improve is the frequency of such tournaments. Fun is great. Let's say once a quarter is it possible?

Side thing to change/improve: Kill/Death bonus points.
I just tried to have a kill/death plus, while charging turns out to be more profitable

Advantages of such a system: One worse round (more deaths) can have an interesting effect on the results.
For example, a 25/20 player in this system is worse than a 35/40 player

With the introduction of the kill/death bonus, they are on par.

First gets +5
Second -5
They both have 30 pts.

Good thoughts and a noble intention, but it's way too complicated, Rinjo.
It has to be kept more like this:

I shot a few faces with shotgun

As for other proposals/improvements, 2 or 3 tournaments a year would be nice.
The Raised Fist mod has a few bugs, admittedly. I needed Alt+F4 twice just to switch teams, for example.
But this is up to Sir Mamba.
I would add a 3rd map, a 2 on 2 for the final. The other players could spectate and record it, thus providing
material for a really cool video.
In any case count me in for another event. (Maybe i'll even buy me a new mouse for a better score)

The previous TDM tournament we did was also done on Raised Fist. The last 4 players were eliminated from one round to the other. So in the semi-finals, it was a 2v2 match like you said.

I agree about more maps. I would like to finish some additional maps for the mod, but have little time at the moment. If someone wants to give me a hand with the map making, we could host another event with additional maps.

The Alt + F4 bug is something that happens in BF1942 generally. It's not limited to my mod.

Too often, Mamba.
The event would lose it's charme and players their interest.
No more than once a month, imho.

I liked a lot the event, it was pretty well organized and fun to play. Raised fist mod and maps were nice. Hope for more events of this kind in the future.
I've got some ideas that we maybe could use for the next events. Not sure how hard it is to make happen(in modding terms) but I'd suggest to play infantry combat with jetpacks+sniper rifle/mp40/knives while flying around and all over the map. That would fit perfectly a map like essen.
Another thing that would be fun to play is "Kill the admin" event in TDM gamemode, in which admins compete vs the rest of players, maybe with teams slightly imbalanced making rest of players team stronger

Thanks Paul. It would be nice to have more events of this type in the future. I'd like to take a break from organizing them though. Someone can take over, maybe you or KILLER88?

Now look here you bad boys, stop being silly.  This is a very serious game and we all have to adhere to every little form of etiquette known to man.  I will not tolerate this for one instance.  I want you all to shake hands now or I'll keep talking and tell you off.  I can be very mature when I want to be, especially when one of my friends is upset. 

You can be my friend too, as long as you follow my friendship guidelines: 

1.  Always join my tourneys, even if you're in the middle of a house fire!

3.  Don't question me when I join/leave 40 of the same discord channels every week.
