Berlin TDM / Caen / Omaha (allies only, I like the mayhem going up ). Bocage, Garden, Stalin, Bulge, Axe would be next. My favorite map though is not here, it was Remagen.

Bulge(Nice map - some attack, others defend. Many possibilities.)/Caen(Some attack, others defend. After capturing the flag, interesting fights in the city)/Garden(Great map flexibility.)

So, everybody has a different taste.
My favourite map would be Gazala, if not on public.
But i voted for Bulge and Tobruk. The wipe-out maps are more interesting.
Midway is charming cause of it's naval battles.
Maps i don't like are Kursk and Kharkov. To me it seems the developers did not put enough effort in these two.

So far no one has voted for battleaxe and iwo jima - and I have the impression that these maps are liked.
A lot of people voted for Berlin and Stalingrad, and during the game, the servers are "emptying" when these maps come into play

It might be very hard to understand, Rinjo, but because the bots who fill up a lot of the server slots isn't represented here in this topic / forum, you get confused.

Guadalcanal: zook heaven
Market: has a very good dynamic and continous action with well balanced teams
El Ala: amusement park basically

Most hated:
Kursk: cant see shit
Caen: color palette looks like puke
Aberdeen: tanks...no thanks

You're right. However, I think that a representative sample should be determined by the majority. Without bots (as you called it) -everyone plays on their own level- there would be no game. Let's not forget that.

The only map that seems to be painfully linear is Kursk. It's neither a map for infantry, nor for tanks, nor for planes. The gameplay is flat. In my experience on the server, people don't like this map very much.

Rinjo, this topic is not about a "representative sample" for the most popular and played maps, but simply just a player (Denny) asking what your favorite map is as a (single) player. So if it's only pilot and plane lovers who enter this topic, it will most likely be plane maps with the most votes. That's what I tried to tell with my previous post...

I hate Kursk for being so small, I hate IWO and Wake as being so easy to take without a good defence, I hate stalingrad and berlin without all the allowed weapons, but the best are aberdeen, coral, berlin, stalingrad, battle of britain, or any interactive ones with full server and good players, good as rather not breaking rules than skilled.
