Removed incorrectly (innapropriate name)

My Call Sign is Slava Ukraine
My wife is Ukrainian - so I chose this title for her
IT translates  "Glory to Ukraine"

Similar to Vive la France
God Bless America
God save the Queen, and so on

I wish to be allowed to hang onto this moniker

Well yes a hundred years ago, but the meaning could be a lot different and simple nowadays, just like Volkswagen and Bundesliga had nazi symbols in their logos.. that was a different time. The words glory to Ukraine in itself cannot be a bad thing, unless of course you don't recognize Ukraine as a real country?

It weird that you in your country you don't care about the origin of this salutation.
Imangine in Germany we would say "Sieg Heil". About Twitter it depends who posts something but in this case he posted a screenshot of a history book.
And German politician and others mentioned the same. I'll do my research.

Slava Ukraine (Glory to Ukraine) is the same as Chwała Wielkiej Polsce (Glory to Great Poland) in Poland.
The greeting gained an important symbolic meaning after February 24
Now the question is who is on which side of the "barricade" and how he relates to it.
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with the nickname "slava ukraine"

No problems whit it, Its in Bulgare. If he use it ONLY for his mickname and would be the same that should apply for Russia.  If its create conflict in chat game then its another story.

Why would they? The origin of a phrase doesn't make the meaning, only the person saying it can dictate that.
Not that long ago an admin banned a player that had the word "Negro" on his name, it's a sad state when you can't say a fucking color (negro means black in spanish) because some people get offended.

I was NOT banned, just removed from one game once.

I cannot remotely understand how this simple request got so much attention...Nazis?

For the life of me, I also cannot see anything offensive with this and am not trying to stir up stuff. I was just honoring my wife and her family now being bombed in Zaperizha nightly.

If necessary, I will go back to my previous name.

He only want to know if he can use Salva Ukrain for nickname for and because of his wife thats all. From what I understand he does not want to be remove from game because of it.
