'DATA DIFFERS FROM SERVER' error on simple server's only

I'm using version 1.61 and this morning I'm unable to play on any simple server games. the game loads and as it finishes loading it pops up with the error 'DATA DIFFERS FROM SERVER' any idea what it means? i last played 3 days ago without issues.

Look for modded files of the stock maps in your Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\bf1942\levels folder.
If nothing there, check all other folders.

Content Check may have been enabled recently because I had to remove my developer files also:
Battle_of_Britain_009.rfa, El_Alamein_009.rfa, etc.

what am I looking for in that folder? I see all the maps but everything looks duplicated.

Had the similar issue recently, reinstalling the game helped.

Hello Team Simple,
I found out today that I can't join the RTR/SW server because my game data is different from the server.

Cause: Content check is activated on the RTR/SW server (value 2), not on the other simple servers and also generally on the at least remaining BF42 servers.

Could an admin please turn off the content check on the RTR server?

Background: I installed Texture Mods (Battlefield 1942 HD Remaster) to refresh the game. Looks great, but my texture data is now a few hundred mb larger. The map data is also much larger. I think that's why the content check hits the server side. It would be a pity if all the people who have beautified their BF42 are banned from the server.

And another piece of information: The texture mod does not give you any gameplay advantage, the extended view is only active if you load the "special extra mod", with which you can no longer join vanilla servers!
On vanilla servers you have the same fog, just not so muddy textures.

I made the mod and only recently found out that it doesn't work on RTR servers.
I fixed it, i just need to release a new version. Soon, i will do it, I'm just doing other things too. There will be few new textures for RTR too.

That sounds good.

I found out that you generally can't join a server that has content check enabled.
Whether it's Road to Rome or Secret Weapons.

in the case of the Simple Server, I tried to join on three Secret Weapons Maps. So it seems to be not only a road to rome but also a secret weapons problem.

The simplest solution would be for a Team Simple Admin to read this and switch the server to Content Check 0. The main server of Simple also runs with content check 0, there are no problems there.

I believe, you just supported me on Patreon, thank you for that.

I actually tested things on Simple, to see if my mod is working properly or not... then i found out, they turned off Content check. I actually want to make my mod work on servers with Content check enabled (with a slight texture tweak, it's possible).

Or maybe i could make a different version for servers like Simple with a bit more tweaks. For example i didn't find a way to make the new sky textures work on servers with content check.

Anyway, RTR and Secret Weapons is fixed now, so even with Content check, the next version should work. If they disable it, i can add sky textures to the expansion packs too. But, i like Content check, it's a layer of anti-cheat. Better than nothing.

I appreciate your work very much and I am happy to pay a contribution for something like that. If there is a server version for the "extra - mod" I would also like to provide the server.

Thanks that the servers are online again, then the move seems to have worked well.
Unfortunately, you have currently turned on the “content check” again on all servers. This means you cannot join the Simple Server if you have texture and graphics mods installed. Can you please deactivate content check again?

Thanks for your patience, the server needed to be set up from scratch and it can take some time to fine tune it.
Therefor, there could always be some settings that is set wrong in a hurry.
