Teamkilled my friend.

I and my friend just got into BF1942 and we wanted to joke by killing each other. However, this resulted in us getting banned. We are now aware that teamkilling, even if it's towards people we know, is prohibited. Can we get unbanned to continue enjoying BF1942?
