i have bought a Rx6600 but for some reason the crosshair doesnt appear, i also have problems with the main menu it seems weird.  Do you guys have any solution for this?

Maybe you solved it already, but dgVoodoo can fix it.

If you force MSAA with it, you will even have better sampled dynamic shadows on terrain (like from players and vehicles). And the battleship lightmaps seems to work with it too.

If you don't know how to changes settings, there are the files. (Just copy the files to main folder.)

I set 4x MSAA and DirectX12 wrap for you (usually better for AMD cards).

thanks that solved the main menu weird view, now it worked as good as before, but when entering the server it goes blackscreen two times and sends me back to my desktop.

Oh right, to me it crashes after a second map load. So i need to reopen the game after one play, but at least it works. If it doesn't work for you at all, just delete d3d8.dll.

There are other directx8 wrappers that might work, but i don't have experience with them. Like this

Blackscreen.exe is set to compatibility mode "run as administrator"?

i have used one of those files to configure the inside menu, deleted it because when i tried to enter the server it crashes, then i used the other file to be able to play, but i have to use one of the crosshair my monitor has, this is some type of "Frankenstein software" lol  btw my amd drivers are 22.11.2    .

Nice topic, well organized. This would also be very useful to have on a simple HTML page, before you enter the SiMPLE forums.

Thx Mamba, but I'm no longer allowed to update the list.  When I had CoD forums,
members were always allowed to edit their posts.  Is anything SiMPLE here?

i updated win 10 but for some reason i ended up in win 11 after it, that solved my issue with 1942, im able to play back again.

I stopped playing since March as I went to work on my countryside house project and had little time to spare.
I play for a few days now and there is a strange thing happening: It acts like sticky keys, forward or side ways and flying spins my plane til I crash. Any Idea? I use a laptop. could be many reasons, but if its something due to server settings it takes out the possibilities. Thanks

It is not the server, but you can play test in other BF1942 servers, just to make sure. I would reinstall the game, it will probably be an easy fix.
