BF1942 DEDICATED SERVER

hi again to all..

just wanted to find out if there is a  DEDICATED SERVER  COMPLETE.

i have tried to run a ded server for 42, but no go.. ports are in, and wont let anyone join.

i dont know if im using the right server with the mods and stuff.

is there anywhere you can download the dedicated server complete  ?

used to run a bf42 demo server for years, but this one is giving me some trouble.

any help would be greatly appreciated.. cheers.. Grrr

As the Replacement Master Server went down and was replaced.  Servers had to patch to redirect to that.  This thread offers Linux and Windows patches for servers.

all good mate, found out the static ip is not working, and the isp wont provide one on 4G wireless.

shame..   all ports are forward, and ip sorted. only thing stopping me, is the static ip.

I also need help. I have seen that the bf1942 provided by the forum does not have the "dedicated server" file. The thing is that I want to create a server for me and a friend who is next to me. I have tried to create a server through the game itself when entering, but both he can't see my server and I can't see his when he creates it on LAN or INTERNET. I have tried using Radmin vpn on both PCs to see if it works, the servers could be seen but when entering it says "Data differs from server". We both have the version that the forum gives us, specifically the first link in this section

I only have the first link of that part of the forum installed because it includes both the expansions and the online one, but as I mentioned, I don't know how to create a server for me and my friend. I would be grateful for your answers, and forgive my English, I am Peruvian

edit: I have tried that both PCs enter a simple team server and both entered correctly, then the problem would be the creation of LAN games

If you have a custom router, you can manage it, i guess.

If you have data differs from server, you both have not the same Game-Version, ... can be a map.

we have the same version downloaded from this forum. We haven't downloaded anything else apart from the link I mentione. i have tried with some maps and everything gives me the same error.

a custom router?what is that?

Not a bad idea to grab the updated executables also:
https://team-simple.org/download/

After install, right-click the BFServerManager.exe & DedicatedServer.exe to set them in
comparability mode.  "Windows XP" or "Windows 7" is fine.

Btw - A search of this forum will yield multiple topics on server hosting.
