Hillbillyninja kicked me because of his own rules

In Market Garden.

Here Hillbillyninja believes that half and opposite side of the bridge (south) on D5 (the WEST (left) bridge) is enemy territory. This area is therefore not within the main of axis. There have been plenty of discussions about this.

Hillbillyninja does not deserve admin status.

It has been discussed again in the admin section more recently than that post and
with the same outcome - half bridge is your stopping point.
Some admins may not enforce it tho.

If you ask me the main ends after the sand bags when you drive to the stone bridge. There are enough AAs in main of axis. Axis can defend themselves easily if planes come too close.

Basecamp rules was created to prevent raping the base, meaning people camping actual spawns etc. so that you cannot even survive few seconds... the bridge is clearly not part of the base.

Hi Fre@k,
Being main base not really well defined on the map, admins vision on where it ends and where it's possible to attack may slightly differ. However there is a thing called best practice which most admins established in years of playing on server, which for this map is indeed half the bridge. Plus there were clear warnings and requests from an admin that you were obliged to follow and that you decided to not, hence Hilly used !kill command on you that was deserved because you didn't listen.

Hi guys, thank you for your answers.

In the 20 years (?) that I've been playing this game, I've never experienced this discussion (rule), on any server. Indeed, most do not have military base attacks and as team-simple puts it:

"Attacking the enemy uncapturable main base (basecamping or basebombing) is not allowed. You must not snipe at the main base. You are not allowed to shoot at planes during take-off. All other vehicles must be given the opportunity to leave their base. Nevertheless, it's permitted to air strike at a fireing AA gun or a shooting artillery that's inside the base."

And what if the river & bridge weren't there and the bridge had been a road? Can you only pass halfway through the road?

In my view, I think we are twisting a bit. It's just a game. But respect to the admins, my 2 cents.

I killed you several times on the other side of the bridge waiting for a tank to get on the bridge to zook it from behind. You even call me a cheater every time I did.

You can play on one of those servers if you enjoy basecamping and pixeling that much.
