hi all

today i had the encounter with a very disrespectfull and quite mouthy player

this (GER)Hammer told me i had to obey the rules, first time i saw him
after he told me i was a taxibailer

i didnt really understand what he ment,
then he told me it was not allowed to jump from a plane?!

now i actually did read the rules, and the rules say, dont take a plane, just to bail,
other might wait for that ect, i totally agree to that,
its to prevent that some players dont get a plane, when they like to,
just to make a game nicer, can't agree more..

but, this guy kept yelling in chat that it was not allowed to jump anyhow,
called me all kind of names, noob, taxibailer (like 10 times),
kinda made me angry, very disruptive, extremely distracting, not nice

and after that he was hardcore camping like crazy with a tank, so silly
and he kept going on and on i was a noob, taxibailer, whatever,
to me rules are there to make a game fair and nice to all players,
hardcore camping, and being very loud in chat and insulting, well,
thats quite the oposite

clearly he's german, even told him that, befehl ist befehl

this guy seems not to understand the rules, or why the rules are there
and it might even very hard to tell him, that u actually can jump from a plane,
why else would we have parachutes?

in many many maps its quite common to jump a plane, to get the game going,
in some maps there are even transporter planes specially for that reason,
jumping from a plane happens all the time

anyway,

hard to deal with someone like this, he's very rude, even his excuse for camping was "defending"
and its allowed, he claimed
yep, being a total jerk in game is allowed, but also acceptable?

If a new player doesn't know the rules it would be great to point that out.
Insulting doesn't help anyone.
Now the point of rules seems to have been clarified and now please be nicer to each other. Please make a fresh start. That would be great.

i don't recall to have asked about any ruling,
rules are very logic, and very clear to me,

its about this persons behaviour, whats actually very bad and, indeed insulting,
in words, and in general in the chat

pointing out rules if someone doesnt know them, great,
but thats completely something else then what this person did,
he was just straight forward insulting,

when i asked him to stop talking to me in the way he did,
he only said "taxibailer"
and didnt even join the game, just stayed on the server,
and kept talking and talking in a disruptive way

i didnt see any clarification about the point of rules to him either,

about the insults, this person should apologise for his behaviour,

i'm always a nice person btw, to people who like to play the game,
this person doesnt actually play the game, he's a troll of the worst kind,
very sneaky, misbehaving behind someone's back,
and acting like the great innocent player to admin's, as it seems

but its ok, everybody deserves a second chance, just hope he can behave next time

ill make sure that i can record his behaviour next time too,
ill stand by my opinion, players like this, if he doesnt change, only ruin it for others,
and should not even be allowed to play online

good idea,

but i just really don't like to waste any energy or time to players like this,

was checking his messages in this forum,
what clears up a bit, i don't think i have ever seen such childish behaviour,

reporting someone is one thing, if someone behaved badly,

but also requesting a ban, or "give someone a break" like he sais,
and even be surprised if there is no immediate action on his report,
quite sad..
specially concidering that he's a hardcore camper and overall
a pretty bad player in the game,
no teamplay, no gameplay, just for the scores,

Granddad has to exaggerate completely so that he can present himself as a victim.

Just so, admins can look at the logs and then see what's true

I played four maps with him.

In the first map (Baytown) I probably have written 5 messages about taxibailing with him, but related to another player who bailed several times.

The next map was Kbely Airfield and there I defended from the hill with the tank (there were only 3 or 4 players on) and also attacked up to the flag next to the bridge!
He then constantly wanted to provoke, but he was unsuccessful --> I just kept playing.

The third map was Santo Croce and there were a total of 3 players (later 4) in the game.
The one on the axis side and I (i was with Granddad at the allied side) didn't played at the begin --> I tried to change the map with a vote and waited for the result.
But Granddad decided to take the Mosquito, flew one round above the top flag and bailed at the flag next to the axis bridges --> without attacking something --> all bots were still in the bases!
Then I wrote maybe 15 messages in 15-20 minutes, he at least 30 or more --> so who would be the radio / chat spammer?
My first message was: "exactly that is taxibailing".
Of course he denied it and said "dude, stop talking to me ok" "u suck". After that I wrote "taxibailer" and "noob" and he came up with "jerk, bigmouth and noob".
And "must be german", "typical German", "Befehl ist Befehl".
Then I was called a troll and "get a life"...
At one point i ignored him and played a few minutes --> mapvote ended the map.

I didn't even wrote to him on the next and last map (Mimoyecques) but he was constantly insulting and trying to give orders to his team (allied), so they wrote he should calm down

His attitude, which he has also expressed, is:
Rules are there to make a game fair, but if they take away the fun they can be ignored!

In the future I will put him on the ignore list because he has to provoke all the time.
I had already seen him constantly insulting and giving orders to his team on some maps before (on other days)

I am sure that he will deny everything again and would like to continue to provoke / insult.

So much for the facts and the truth!

That's all I'm going to write about it now.
I'm not going to waste another minute arguing with him and getting angry at him.
It is just wasted time.
He will try to turn it around every time.

I wrote you what happend on that day (was already a few weeks ago).
Game crashed and dont know how you were tked.
And that's the truth, even if you don't want to believe it!

Unfortunately, I had the case a few times before (on different servers --> also on sc servers like oz wake) that the game crashed when I left vehicles and they were then destroyed.
I still don't know why.

My game also crashes frequently when I go back to windows (with alt+tab).
I just had it again a minute ago.

And please tell the full story.

After I rejoined and you wrote that in the chat, I apologized, although I'm not sure how it happened, and we played just a normal round!

For me it looks (again), that the "taxibailing-rule" is your try Hammer, to invent your own rule to correct other players. IMO there is no such taxibailing-rule. As granddad says, sometimes its tactic to use a plane as taxi to get a flag, like in essen or mimo.

We discussed this already in this topic and head admin Paul Baumer stated clearly, that this rule is not existing:

I can confirm Hammer is neurotic to the bone. He once banned me on Oz Wake where he obviously is admin on. I remember him getting super angry as I was leaving him no chance to do anything on the map. It is fairly easy to keep the upper hand on small maps like Wake as a pilot when there are just a handful players online. He accused me for cheating and banned me thereafter.

I understand it feels unfair to get owned by air (he was essentially grounding) but there are other ways to express a feeling of unfairness than simply perm ban.
I would put Nameless or Abas on the exact same level who both are not ideal to get the job done due to bad personality factors and a false understanding of neutrality in making decisions. However, maybe that is exactly part of the diversity and tolerance in mentalities program by tuia. The server would not be as much fun without those controversies, right?

I assume tuia picked them a long time ago because of their reasonable scores, which are mostly achieved by exploiting game mechanisms and abusing admin rights. Don’t outscore them or you will become their target.

i tried to tell this Hammer several times to try to understand the rules,
or understand the meaning of it..

on the SiMPLE | RtR+SW server are not so many players as on the main server,
the previous discussion was, where there were 3 or 4 players on the server,
and ofcourse the pro players...the bots

then ofcourse its tactical to use a plane to get somewhere fast,
its not wasting a plane, you don't bother anyone else with it, at all

besides that,Hammer also claimed that it was written that its forbidden
to bail from a plane if its undamaged, or not used to kill or destroy something,
nope..not the case

btw, according to hammer admins kick or ban people for this, saying its forbidden to jump from a plane,
in maps like Essen, to me that doesn't make sense, why would that be forbidden?,
its quite tactical, in anciet warfare, as in modern warfare

how did the Allies get in Arhem 1945 so fast?, pretty sure they didnt swim

another example of how this Hammer dude behaves,

someone pointed out the negative reputation point i got,

just checked,

only yesterday, Hammer, Woolf, and lage gave me negative reputation points,
Hammer is well known, the other 2 are new id's on this server, with zero comments,
1+1 is still 2, so this is Hammer too, it even rhymes

as said, he's a little prick

The two accounts are from buddies of mine.
They and two others were at my house from Friday to Monday (holiday --> playing Play Station,... --> yes, we still meet for that --> more fun) and noticed the matter.
First one created an account and then a few days later an other one.

These actions were their own decisions.
I didn't tell them to do this.
But they found it simply unfair what was being done, especially because a few others got involved and also rated me negatively.

But I told them yesterday that they should actually stay out of it.
I'm allowed to negatively evaluate false claims, etc., but not others.

If they come back today, I'll tell them again that they should delete their accounts --> if they can even do it themselves?

It is clear to me that there may be some don't want to believe it, but that's how it is.

And no, I'm not Zoid.
Zoid is an old well-known player.

I haven't written here any more because a few days ago I made it clear, that I won't write something more about that subject.
