Battlefield Vietnam

Hi all,

i saw that there are 3 servers running,

1 is always busy, 1 has some players mostly in the evening (for me)

and 1 , called "new maps" where i never saw anyone playing,

why not run battlefield Vietnam on that server?

to me, Batttlefield Vietnam is a totally different gameplay,
different weapons, really cool choppers, whats not on any map elesewhere,
and, without question, the best music

new maps can simply be introduced on a existing server where people play,
also takes care of some feedback,
introducing new maps, on a server, but hardly anyone checks them,
doesnt give any feedback

i'm quite sure that quite some people would love to play Battlefield Vietnam

BF Vietnam is a totally different game... don't think people here play it at all.
Installed it too few years ago. There was not even one busy server I think. Great music tho... white rabbit is my favorite.

The physics in BFV would need an overhaul for 42 players to even bother playing there. For one, there is an annoying up and down camera bob effect when you walk. That should be removed.

Perhaps the WW2 Vietnam mod could be played, with some modifications to make it more 42 like.

yup,

but that wasn't the question, or suggestion

the idea is, why run a empty server?

when there is a alternate way to play there,
BF Vietnam is very different then the "normal" Bf

and it could be that there are many players who could like it,

why not give it a try?

i agree, can't really compare the 2 types of gameplay,

the up and down effect is quite realistic tho,
to me thats the best part, BF vietnam is way more realistic
