Banned for killing teammate in plane

Hi!

I got banned like ten minutes ago from the SiMPLE | BF1942 server, and it was right after I accidentally killed a teammate who was gonna take off in a plane. I feel like this was unfair, because I did not intend to do it and really enjoy playing on the server after having not played BF1942 in like 15+ years.

My nickname was Sylvarias, just like here. Am I permabanned, or will it go away soon? It would be great if I could be unbanned and have a second chance. Thanks!

By what i saw wasnt look accidentally . You have been repairing newly spawned airplane , when me and Svetlana jumped in you changed to mine and blow us making tk.

Indeed, I was repairing the plane, and there is a very simple explanation for how it exploded: when repairing the plane I accidentally switched to the mines with my scroll wheel and clicked and placed a mine, not realizing I had changed weapons, and even less that someone was actually in the plane when I was standing so close to it. Then of course when I dropped the mine instead of repairing it, the mine instantly exploded, and the rest is history. I understand exactly why you would think it was on purpose, since many people wait a long time for planes sometimes and get angry, but I honestly just accidentally put a mine there and got banned before I could even apologize properly.

I would be very thankful if you could reconsider the ban. I will try my best to avoid such misclicks in the future. Thanks.

Well i guess since you registered and explained all we can reduce your ban, just be careful next time. Usually for this, bans were going to 7 days.

Did you take his plane without asking first?

Wasnt "his" since was newly spawned and imediatelly got damaged by hadzuki. Repairing with wrench dosnt making plane "his"

I don't know man... he repairs it and you just take it... not something an admin should do if you ask me. And then you ban him. lol

If someone start repairing damaged plane thats not becoming his property. Many players just repair when having wrench without wish to fly. Plane was newly spawned in front of us .If he get first in and exit for repair this plane is his. Kick was for tk , which looked very purposelly, yet he explain all and sound honest.

Yeah, all good... that happens with mouse wheel or even by miss click it can happen. I disabled my switching with mouse wheel btw.
