I don't know if you are bugging Lecter. I just met you on server and you went up and down and i didn't hit you at all. I think it was because of the up-down bug, but i am no expert in this matter. I don't even know how it works to be honest. And it looks funny the way you jumps all the time. You have your own style... even without tag i would recognize you.

me neither but I often, when im with noone around me, do up and down to feel pumped on, its more of a personal thing to feel electric and alive during game.  What sometimes happens is that im doing that and someone shows up and feels im doing it for them. And its not, he just caught me while I was up and down but im not even shooting. And btw I take hits everytime. Hard to explain, u need to be seated next to me to see clearly when and why im doing that.

i recalled this one: when you half in water, holding "duck" button when moving forward, you'll move faster,
it's useful on Philippines to cross water part, when you attack airfield from that island, is this a bug?

lecter, if u bug mostly the bug only goes on for 1 or 2 seconds. so ofcourse u gain hits, but mostly because of your good aiming we are dead by then..

After all these years of 1942 I just this moment discovered something new and essential .....

- Pressing the left control key while in freecam mode, switches to x10 speed instead of x1 ..... !

It works on all servers with freecam enabled !!

... Be honest ... how many of you knew this ... ?

It only came in handy to practice pixelshooting some years ago and that's it.

One of the reasons why It’s taken me so long to discover this, is probably that I’ve always used the arrow keys when playing first person shooters.

So I rarely use the left side of the keyboard. Please don’t laugh at me ... It’s a real bad habit I got in the 80’s, playing on IBM PCs and Amigas. It’s disadvantageous, since you have to reach farther for the surrounding keys. I’ve been planning to switch to WASD for a long time now .... when 1942 dies, I swear I’ll do it ....

Can anybody say if it’s possible to remap fast freecam to another key than that left ctrl ?

damn, that bug stuff shit. Now i understand what you guys are saying. When I crouch and hit it (the button C=crouch for me) several times fast is that it?? Because i see the up and down, laying down and get up,  but that´s different.

I honestly dont do it on purpose, and if that´s so I didnt know that was bugging... since always i played like this and I cant be more sincere about it.

It’s possible to enter all vehicles when falling / flying by hitting them directly and holding down the enter vehicle key.

Compared to briefly deploying the parachute :

+ faster
+ less chance of being noticed
+ less chance of being fired at

- more difficult, takes more skill
- harder to do with high ping / lag

go to options-customize, and turn off shadows, you will see better inside buildings

Please do ... I've been waiting three years to see the infy-supertalent, Lecter, play 42 on a proper pc. Me and Cutie are ur biggest fans lec. Imagine him with 500 fps, 1000 hertz mouse + keyboard and a 120 hertz screen. If I win a million € in the lottery, I'll donate u a killer rig, swear to god ..
