I guess that's more an Bronchitis, then a flu, if you have it 2-3 times a year.
If you feel its beginning, take a long hot shower before sleep.
If you sweat, look that you not getting cold short after, change under- and T-shirt.
...
Yes right, bronchitis. Not sure about hot shower, it could make worse. Ice cold water+ warm alcogol work for me.
The only thing you have to be strong and keep yourself under blanket, not to go outside for beer and sigarets
...
Omicron has arrived.

Skipped a couple of letters there, huh. Dont wanna call it Xi, huh?

I mean that this thing is splitting people in two groups, with tempers flaring hot in both camps. So then its down to people vs people.

It lives exactly as long as people feed it, that is - talk about it, care about it
Covid started in Portugal in March 2020. In early January that year, 2 months before, I had tremendous short of breathness for some days ,mostly at night, was extremely tired for weeks and stopped smoking because I thought it was related to it...Covid was almost a non issue at the time. Around mid December 2019, due to my job, I had several coaches from all over the place to see a showcase of football players I always do that month. All those coaches came from Italy. I strongly believe I had Covid, I had all symptoms except I didnt lose olfact or taste. I never ever felt like I did in January. I was tired for some months after and I can honestly say during those weeks I was afraid going to sleep due to the short of breath that always happened during sleep/rest. Sometimes I would wake up 4 in the morning, get a blanket over my head with a bowl of boiling water and vapor just to ease it...then I would go to sleep only at 8 in the morning, sometimes I was 2/3 hours or even 4 like that until I could sleep.
I didnt experienced lag then.

That's life.

Sounds like exactly the same thing that has happened to me.
Although this happened pretty early, around june 2019.
Basically I had shortness of breath, and I was struggling to get enough oxygen in my lungs, no matter how deep I tried to breathe.
This symptom continued for around a week.
It was mostly at night, but It has also happened several times during the day.
And whenever I tried to take a deep breath, I could feel a bit of stinging in my lungs.
The scariest part when this ''shortness of breath attack'' suddenly happened was when I was on colloquium.
I'm not sure if covid was even announced at that time, so I initially thought it was related to stress. But who knows.

Actually no, just a mild cold
My boyfriend tested positive yesterday evening (he's vaccinated). No symptoms, not even a slight fever. I had to take the day off of school as a precaution but I'm good (we don't live together). I'm doing clinical immersion and get tested every time I go into the hospital (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) and tested negative each time. I also have at-home test kit my employer gave everyone and it was negative today.
I got a booster awhile ago. I originally had the J&J single shot and got the Moderna booster this time.

.
omicron is artificially created by china as well
china is in full frontal assault to finish off the entire world within a decade
this IS world war 3
...
That's not a fact, Dude, but conspiracy theory.
In the middle age the jews or other minorities were guilty of plague and cholera, ... people found always a guilty.
On the other side Omicron is not as deadly as the others are.
...
Omicron is not as deadly as the others are
stop the ramblings. nobody knows for sure yet, that is unqualified guessing / wishful thinking / a conspiracy theory by you
i bet at one point, there'll come a variant that both causes more damage to the human body, and will be more contagious than the delta variant. maybe it's omicron
china will be the top military and economic superpower by around 2030 .... all hastened by the covid superweapon
usa held that title for almost 100 years. in 10-20 years from now and on, nobody will dare to oppose china. they'll be able to boss anybody around. it'll be a sick dictatorship and a world of hurt, misery and suffering
usa was mainly comprised of northern europeans in the past. they're genetically kinder, more humane, more emotional, friendlier than asians
...
You think as long nobody knows it for sure it's ok to blame china prophylactic?
...
I would never trust a communist why should I now? Talking about China. This guys are extremely dangerous. I just dont agree with this "china will be the top military and economic superpower by around 2030 .... all hastened by the covid superweapon". Even with that the US is far superior still and will remain so. The difference is still abysmal at this day.
...
Nana, that with 2030 and China is practically in the range of possible and they really working on it. Their Target is before 2050.
It's scaring if you see them preparing this by long hand. They invest much energy into this.
They stamp out of the ground several Military Bases everywhere in the asiatic - pazific sea between months. On a Reef or an small Atoll.
And if you heard the speech of Xi Jinping when he summoned the entire army countrywide those 2 hours, "Soldiers be prepared to give your live for China" , ... it's really not just a bit scaring.

But it's understandable. USA had the chance to make everything clear after WW2, (Relationshipment), but they fukked it up with many countries.
And as long countries let produce everything in China it helps China to reach this target easy.
Why you think they want Taiwan. Not only because of TMSC.
China can't produce Prozessors them self and think what possibilities they would have, beside all other chips they produce, if they got it.
And why it should be different now and in future, then it was since centuries.
Each country looks for it's own advantage. As i said. USA had the chance and now China is following their Foodsteps.
Let's hope countries in Europe learned something between the past 2 years. They were not even able to produce Masks themself.
...
But to link this fact with Corona is Nonsens.

time for some extra shots.
While the world is grappling with the highly infectious Omicron, strain of Covid, scientists in France have identified a potentially worrying new variant, which has 46 mutations.
Named IHU, the new B.1.640.2 variant

Omicron is not that dangerous as others before.
Let's hope it's the same with B.1.1

Sorry, but in this case you have no clue what you are talking about.
Highly infectious does not mean it's more dangerous.
On the contrary, ... there are rumors it could be soon over.
If once the virus got all people it disappears/dies out.

wrong, the are people who got infected by 2 different strains of covid, even at the same time.
.....rumors...... stick to what is happening in the reality, in real life.
This virus modified by them mutates in a very short period of time, due to this, it becomes more dangerous as time pass by. (this aint any rumor, this is the reality)

We have here in Swiss with 8 Mio. People 30'000 new infections per day.
But not many have to go in Hospital. (2/3 less then before and less serious deseases).
Beside Omicron does not attack the lounges like the others did.

The evolution of viruses can go both ways. What stops it from becomming extremely deadly is the host dying before it have the chanse of infecting other hosts.
With the emergency approved vaccsine that is not stopping infection, the virus can evolve into whatever. You have taken away a limiting factor in the evolution.
Difference of generating antibodies after vaccination and after natural, not weakened infection.
