Map pack Server

Hey tuia

Following both Europe and US server success how about having a dedicated server of 32 players for the mappack? It could be nice for all server community and eventually having players downloading them. Alot of regs have them and im sure by the numbers we have on a daily basis that would be a good server running too.

Battle for Guam
Remagen
Faid Pass
The Great Pursuit
Operation Forager

Or even add some RTR and SW maps in it.

I dont remember if there are more but it would be a treat

thats great idea, road to rome has very interesting and fun maps too, would be nice if that happened

Ok, either a Road to Rome and Secret Weapons server or Custom Maps server. The new server will be for 36 players, for now.

i would put some more maps that are played currently in liga, never heard of kasserine and remagen

remagen is a BEAST map, so, mmmm, what to do ???
But guys, arent we asking a lot from tuia, giving him too much extra work to do ?

It can be created without much trouble a custom maps server, but what maps to include?
bf-league.eu is running this maps in the current memoCup:

Maps from memocup its harder for players to get them. Map pack at least there is a chance some will have it and some, who dont, know where to download them easilly.

I would go with mappack as i mentioned previously and add some of the league maybe. I would try 1st the map pack and as soon as the server gets with consisten players numbers maybe add some new from liga....but have a ingame command maybe telling where to download them in forum?

This Mappack's (calls = EA Community Mappacks) should be easier to promote as the current bf-league maps.
Because, those Mappacks were downloaded overall 100k times.

Pink here I have never play memocup maps b4 anyone got videos of this?
The SW expack I know of and its very awesome the allied parachute landing is my fav.

IMO I dont agree puttin Road to Rome expack on and I will explain.
There is nothing appealing playin as cowards Italy was major burden on da red side.
I know they had outdated weapons tanks ships and da army lacked leadership/motivation.
Not only 1 thing they could do right even with axis supply xD Many countries were in bad shape too but they did far better.
Italians lost to a greek army who had same weaponry Ethiopia win came with huge loses.
FYI a german kid in battle of berlin/or espanol blue division soldier had more courage and loyalty than 10 Italians.
Changin sides so fast on midwar oh LOL. Thats why game devs never put them in WW2 games and I dont want to play those maps
again as *censor*. There must be other ppl thinking da same.

Hahaha. Go tell that to an italian. History aside, I like some Road to Rome maps like Monte Cassino, Salerno and Operation Husky. I too don't know much of custom maps. If there is a popular EA Community Mappack, then the maps should be picked from there.

karden chaos is nice inf map but i believe it will lag too much if alot of people, and most of those memo maps are lagging, so dont make too much slots..
and for battle of africa i would mod at least 1 more plane or tank.

I've checked that EA Community Mappack and it only has 4 maps: Operation Forager, Remagen, Faid Pass and The Great Pursuit. So, the new server will have all current memoCup maps and Remagen. So, it's 21 maps total. If any more maps should be added, say so. Remember that maps have to be suited for around 30 players.
