The AK is actually a Chinese Type 81.  AK's are prohibited here since 1996.  That's a dream rifle of mine so instead I got the SKS, Type 81, Type 88 DMR and a Type 97.

Type 81 has the same action as the SKS so legal here.

Is sub barrel greenade throwner legal?:)

They were non-restricted originally, now prohibited after May 1st.  That's an Israeli marked M203 40mm but the hard part to get was the key to fit it onto a government profile barrel.  I had to speak with a Lt. Colonel at KAC in order to get it released and sent up here as it's a restricted part not usually in the export KAC RAS5 kit.

Canada actually.

I believe civilian ownership of firearms is important to the functioning of a democracy.  That being said, I don't think weapons such as mine, should be as widely or as easily obtainable by just anyone.

I certainly wouldn't have picked Sacha Baron Cohen, the comedian, as a way to bolster my point of view.
